If god loves you, how come he judges you?

I want to start this post off with saying this is my opinion and what I've read other people saying. I wouldn't post anything that isn't true and I have got all my conclusions from the bible and can state which part where possible.
So we often see love as an emotional thing that only stretches so far. But in reality love is so much more than that, especially gods love for us. If you loved someone you would obviously want the best for them and wouldn't want them to be in any danger. Gods love is so strong and deep that he hates anything that gets in the way of his beautiful creations (You and I) happiness.
So when something bad happens, god wants justice on this and rightly so. He wants them to be punished so they can see where they have gone wrong. Gods holy nature must be protected by justice.
So to have justice there would need to be judging. Just like in actual court case, there would no justice or punishment without the judge saying they're guilty or innocent. (This is merely a scenario to get the point across. God is far more powerful than anybody on this earth.) Just the same as that god would judge the situation and give the necessary punishment. If God didn't do this he would be unrighteous and he wouldn't be God. God must punish our rebellion and this is why Jesus came to earth and died for our sins.
So many people reject God because they view him as unjust and not fair. However, what standards are you comparing god to? The ones on earth, right? But god is far bigger than we could ever imagine and this is why he isn't on earth. So if he isn't on earth, how can you judge him against those standards? People also question that if god promised to banish evil, then why is evil still here? He's so powerful so surely he could get rid of it in a flash? Just because he hasn't god rid of it yet, doesn't mean he's okay with it. He hates the fact the world is full of sin and is so corrupt. However in his Godly nature, he gave every human free will and that is where the world becomes sinful. If he was to remove this free will then he would be a hypocrite and not showing his love towards us.
I really hope this answers the question and you realize that God only wants the best for each and every one of us.
