So summer is VERY nearly here and I know for sure I'm excited. Not only for the 6 weeks off college, but also how the sun always puts me in such a good mood. One small downer on all of this is that, we still have college/school to finish before we can enjoy it completely. Because after all, Who doesn't want to spend their first glimpse of summer stuck inside revising or in an exam hall. So I bet you all need motivation to get through and finish for the summer. (I sure do!). Think of this way, the quicker you finish your work and just get it done the quicker summer will be here and you can relax completely. Also, plan ahead for the summer and this will then give you things to look forward too and hopefully motivate you to finish quicker. I wanted to write about something that has been escalating in the news for quite a while now. Many people have different opinions on this (That's okay!) , so i just wanted to share mine and maybe inform some of you on this subject. So I read a news article today, which was titled "What are the limits of freedom of speech?". To summarize the article; It spoke about a mass shooting which happened in January 2015 against a french magazine company. 12 cartoonists and journalists were murdered by two men, who identified themselves as belonging to the Islamist terrorist group. They presumably didn't like that a magazine was mocking their religion/belief, so took it upon themselves to show this. This article uses this particular incident as an example to explore freedom of speech and if there is any limits.
